Idaho Science & Engineering Fairs
About the Fair
Since 2017 the Idaho STEM Action Center & it’s partners proudly host 3 regional high school science and engineering fairs for grades 9th-12th across Idaho. Students present their findings at EISEF (Eastern Idaho Science & Engineering Fair) in partnership with Idaho National Laboratory (INL) held at Idaho State University, WISEF (Western Idaho Science & Engineering Fair) in partnership with Micron held at Boise State University, or NISEF (Northern Idaho Science & Engineering Fair) held at University of Idaho.
During the event, students have the opportunity to share their ideas with one another, engage with STEM professionals and compete for over 50 medals/certificates including the Bearden Award a $500 cash prize for females in computer science, and also the chance to attend and compete at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair in May (all-expense paid).
