100 hour update: I am honored to receive the opportunity to complete an externship with a local Idaho company Micron! Having this opportunity through STEM Action Center, I am able to work remotely to complete a research and development project with Microns veteran and diversity recruitment team. Since I am working remotely, I don’t have any images to share of the company, but my experience has been invaluable thus far. I was able to put my research and investigative skills to use and even learned new techniques to find more specific information. The team I have been working alongside at Micron has been incredible. They have been so helpful and supportive, and I have already learned so much from different departments within the company. Having this experience to take with me into the schools will prove to be insightful and I am looking forward to finishing this externship and my projects to further my career.

I am honored for this opportunity to complete an externship with a local Idaho company Micron! I have been lucky enough to get a glimpse into the amazing company that Micron is and the wonderful people that support it. I was able to work remotely to complete research and development projects that benefit the future talent working with Micron. Along with the veteran and diversity recruitment team, many new and existing initiatives for hiring top talent have been improved. My experience has been invaluable thus far and I was able to put my research and investigative skills to use and even learned new techniques to find more specific information. The team I have been working alongside at Micron has been incredible. They have been so helpful and supportive, and I have already learned so much from different departments within the company. Having this experience to take with me in education will prove to be insightful and I am looking forward to finishing this externship and my projects to further my career.
