Mission Critical Group is a power solutions manufacturing company, with local facilities in Caldwell and Nampa. They have experienced rapid growth in recent years, adding over 1000 employees , with new locations all over the country. I was tasked with helping the training department develop company wide standard operating proceedures, work instructions, training guides, and onboarding assessments. I was treated as a regular member of the team, with suggestions taken from my years of experience as a trainer and educator being valued and appreciated. I will return to my classrrom this fall with a much better understanding of the complex makeup of power solutions required to support the rapid technology growth of our digital age. I am excited to share with students the numerous local job opportunities available at MCG, including welding, electrical, painting, fabrication, and assembly that are accessable right after high school that provide excellent on the job training and work experience!
