During my time with the Trio upward bound summer school program at BSU, I was tasked with teaching a semester of multimedia and a semester of economics to high school students. Classes were 3.5 hours long and I needed to not only cover content to meet state standards, but needed to engage students to support understanding. I was pleased Overall with the scope and sequence I was able to adhere to as well as create projects and activities that not only aided with learning, but helped students gain relevant understanding and connections to real-world skills.
