I had a great summer learning about Idaho Health Care. I learned about Assisted Living Administration and how to become certified to be an administrator. I had the amazing opportunity to work with Robert and Dana at IHCA. They are friendly and kind. They work hard to make sure that Assisted Living, Home Health and Skilled Nursing Facilities are supporting in caring for our aging population. I spent most of my summer externship time at the computer researching and editing.
Each summer IHCA hosts a Convention in Boise to provide renewed certification classes and support for Health Care workers. I had the opportunity to attend this year. It was amazing to be a small part of this an important work and to rub shoulders with some of the kindest people you will ever know.
