The Western Idaho Science & Engineering Fair (WISEF) is open to all Idaho students in Regions III and IV who are currently enrolled in grades 9-12, including homeschool students. Students may enter through their school science fair or may enter independently by registering online. There is no fee to participate, but each student or team must abide by all the rules and regulations as posted. Students will be able to work with their teacher to purchase materials necessary to participate in the competition. Educators and students will also have access to virtual mentors to support them on their projects. The top student projects at each local fair will have the opportunity to attend the national Intel ISEF in May 2017 and represent Idaho.
