Do you know how to SEW or have a 3D Printer? Or know someone that does? Make Homemade Face Masks or Face Shields to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

Here are some designs being made across the country and world to help fill the need! Each has different properties, uses, and effectiveness, so remember to talk to your local leaders to ensure you are providing the right solution to their challenge.

Things to Remember:

• Review Health and Safety Guidelines for important information.
• Provide documentation with each item donated, including information on materials used and directions for care.

Ways of Working

• Follow the golden rule: wash your hands often & don't touch your face!
• Wear one of your own masks while you sew, and gloves if you can.
• If you feel sick, stop work! Take care of yourself, and keep any made masks with you at home.

Face Mask With Ties, Flexible Nose Piece, and Filter Pocket*

This design is often preferred by healthcare facilities as you can sterilize the outer mask and change the internal filter as needed. As always, check with your local organization to determine actual need before starting your project.
